Flowers to Attract Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds are naturally attracted to certain flowers. If you want to attract hummingbirds, grow the flowers they like! Some vines are among hummingbirds favorite flowers, and a copper trellis is perfect for growing vines using only limited ground space. Other flowers can be grown in the ground or in pots.

Growing hummingbird-attractive plants in pots, so you can move the pots to your deck or patio as the flowers come into bloom, is a good technique for bringing the birds closer to where you can view them.

• "H" means the plant is attractive to hummingbirds.
• (H) means only some varieties are attractive to hummingbirds.
